About Fluent Edge Academy

Learn in small groups with clear direction

Small-group language courses designed for steady progress, clear guidance, and practical speaking practice.

Fluent Edge Academy offers language courses and tutoring with a strong focus on small-group learning. Our classes are built to keep participation active, feedback specific, and lesson pacing manageable for each learner.

We work with adult beginners, continuing learners, and community groups who want structured study in Valparaíso or online. Every learner starts with an initial level screening so we can match the right group and timetable.

Our story

A clear path from inquiry to progress

Built around practical teaching, clear planning, and a format that supports real participation.

Fluent Edge Academy was founded by Sofia Miranda to make language learning more organized and approachable for adults and small groups. Since 2017, the focus has stayed on lessons that are easy to follow and useful to apply outside the classroom.

Our process begins with a course inquiry and level screening, followed by group and timetable matching, course terms confirmation, and enrolment. This structure helps each learner understand what to expect before lessons begin.

We also provide written learning plans, guided peer practice, and progress reviews so learners can track what they are working on. Progress depends on starting level, attendance, independent practice, learning needs, and course duration.
